Full Story

Brycen Newman was only 15 when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. After several surgeries, he was left unable to walk and faced a grim prognosis. With few options remaining, Brycen and his family prepared to travel to Florida for an experimental treatment, holding on to the little hope that was left. Before the trip, his high school organized an assembly, where the entire student body of 1,600 students gathered to pray over him. Brycen recalls, “I felt this warm sensation, like when you take clothes out of the dryer. That was God healing me.” Following this experience, Brycen’s tumor began to shrink, and eventually follow-up scans showed no trace of the tumor. "It was gone," doctors confirmed, expressing their astonishment. Medical professionals involved in his case were unable to provide a scientific explanation for the sudden disappearance, labeling it a complete and unexpected remission. In gratitude for his healing, Brycen started the Miracle at Manchester Foundation, a charity dedicated to providing iPads to children with cancer—devices to help young patients stay connected with their families during extended hospital stays. Brycen’s story of faith and prayer also became the subject of a 2022 movie titled "Miracle at Manchester".
