Full Story
Matheus was a four-year-old boy in Brazil, who weighed only 20 pounds. He survived only on vitamin shakes due to his disease, annular pancreas, which caused him to vomit any solid food. The boy's mother heard from her priest about Carlo Acutis, a devout teenager who passed away a few years prior. The priest encouraged prayers to Carlo for intercession. She prayed for nine days, and decided to take Matheus to a prayer service on October 12, the anniversary of Carlo's death. During the car ride home after the service, Mattheus told his mother that he was completely cured. That evening, he asked for his brothers' favorite foods (such as french fries and steak), and ate them for the first time without vomiting.
